Location
Godalming comprises a busy thriving Surrey town situated approximately 5 miles to the south of Guildford. It is a commercial centre in its own right being home to a number of international, national, regional and local organisations such as the World Wildlife Fund, Wurth Industries, Penningtons solicitors and accountants Roff Swayne. In addition the local authority offices of Waverley Borough Council are also located in the town.
Communications are excellent with Godalming mainline railway station being located in the town centre where there is a fast mainline service to London Waterloo (fastest journey time approximately 45 minutes).
By road Godalming is located just off the main A3 London to Portsmouth trunk road which connects to the M25 at Junction 10 some 14miles to the north and hence the national motorway network. There are also good routes via the A31 and A331 Blackwater Valley Relief Road the M3 at Junction 4.
